A shocking statement by Griffin was directed against the General Education Board, believing that education’s intentions is no longer caring about the individual’s development in knowledge and critical way of thinking. Such organizations have invested a huge budget in order to shift education into a new direction that obligates it to function as a foundation of human resources in the modern world societies. Therefore, the individual is enrolled into institutions that enforces principles of control and order, in a way that rewards docile individuals, and disqualifies those who don’t stand in line or suit the desired standards.
Evaluation took a further step into sorting out the best among the docile students by letter grades indicating their performance in achieving their assignments, the evaluation ranges from superior to satisfactory. This is where education was considered an industry more than an instructing constitution simply dealing with people as products that are prepared, tested, packed, and labeled to feed the labor market.
Higher authorities prepared a strategy to keep the secret agenda under the shade, and used propaganda and mainstream media to beautifully decorate and sugar coat education to what it may look appealing to the public, considering it as a righteous path to a proper life. Education then have been widely marketed among the modern world nations as the ultimate source of information that elevates the individual’s consciousness, enables critique and questioning, and encourages innovation.
Appearance of the modern education was stringed tightly to the hidden agenda, and the play was perfectly orchestrated to omit the individual’s simple mind from thinking about where these strings may lead to. A statement by the General Education Board itself have been announced in the clear atmosphere
“We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or men of science. We have not to raise up from among them authors, educators, poets or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians, nor lawyers doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen, of whom we have ample supply. The task we set before ourselves is simple...We will organize children...and teach them to do in a perfect way the things their fathers and mothers are doing in an imperfect way.”

Unfortunately, minds have been highly manipulated to either overlooked such statement, or totally neglected it because they were too blind to read.
Looking at the system from this point surely evaporates a great deal of questions like “What happens to those who are dismissed to be part in educational programs?”, the answer should have been simple one, life offers a great deal of options of how an individual may consider a way of living, there are many professions around the world that can be taken as careers, and there are people who may have the ability to perfect these professions.
However, the propaganda had reduced the chanced of free choice and dropping out of school by creating wide-spread stereotypes that whoever quits school, or gives up schooling education is considered a failure. Mainstream media plays a expanded role in mentally sorting out these individuals and labeling them as defects in society, which makes those who are enrolled in educational institutions to spend more efforts in studying and not to be dismissed.
