The following are all the exercises I've
done since day one (Including day 10):
During Fasting:
2 x 90min Aikido Martial arts sessions.
8 Km Run. (500+ colories)
3 x RPM sessions. (675+ colories per session)
1 x Body pump session (600+ colories per
session)
1 x TRX session (550+ colories per session)
3 x (30/30 BP/RPM) sessions (600+ colories
per session)
After Iftar:
Outdoor 16 Km run. (1000+ colories)
2 x Body Attack sessions (735+ colories per session)
I’m quite impressed by these results for my first 10 days in Ramadhan,
but I can’t ignore the fact that the beginning was tough especially workout
during fasting. However, my body seemed to adapt quicker than I thought, I
became more focused into “making the best out of it” than thinking of the time left
to have my first sip of water.
This list should be my measuring tool for the remaining days, I cant
help but to aim higher to make that list larger. It looks like I’m having a
huge gap in my workout list for “after Iftar”, especially that social and
family gatherings are unavoidable events during Ramadhan.
I believe the only way is to fill that gap is to exercise before sunrise, it is risky in a
way because that is the time when fasting starts, but if I plan, my body will serve
and will have no other choice but to adapt.
