Just in case you're human (Part 2)

I can still remember the days of the 1990s when I was a child. The family connection was much stronger than the way it is right now, I barely recall my dad getting busy anytime after coming back from work which made us do many activities most of the time as a family. Activities like having a picnic at the park, going to the beach, oor playing soccer. However, things slightly changed when mobile phones came out, somehow made me feel like an intruder took place in the house. I rarely recall any time having a meal together without a distrubance from a phone ring. It kicks me in the nerves when the phone rings in such important family moments, its even more lousy in bad moments like funerals, without mentioning what happens in mosques, it became really common. Aside from that, such devices keeps me alert and stressfull, it is the worst now when the BlackBerries came out, where peaople preffer pushing the buttons than using their tongues.

It even hurts more everytime I step in the neighbourhood, it is like the old image i had in memory is no longer. Almost every kid has his own guardian, a house maid, who escorts him around most of the time like he is subject to being kidnapped. Even with that, maise seemed to socialize more than the kids themselves, sometimes I wonder why maids are making a crowd in the block. Like in our days, kids were supposed to play games that has a physical conent like kinz, soccer, and hide and seek. Instead of that, they are stuck with their PSPs like their eyes are popping out, in other words, our kids are programmed to live in the prison environment.

Countless examples I could mention about the human values that we lost, but I think you would get the picture now. I cannot judge whether this is planned or accidental, but we should avoid being programmed to just accept whatever shown to us, and have the strong sight to uncover the opponent's deck before playing the cards. Unfortunately, it is already too late to reject because we have lost much already, all what is left is a bar code and a price tag to be the machines of the future~
