As interested as ever, with whatever energy left in my body, I was just so persistant to attend the sessions with the best in the dojo. A night with yokota, followed by a morning with Yasuno, and the afternoon with Kobayashi.
Loved the night session, not as busy as the morning one, but the room was almost 95% of black hakamas, which made me somehow feel that I was not in the right place. Looking around me, someone looks very very familiar around here... it was the ochideshu who was in that ceremony video that day, and he was sitting next to me! Yokota came in, called in the ochideshu, and started the techniques. Wait..! I saw this style from before, it looks familiar, my memories just warped back the the ettisalat academy dojo somehow~
Looking at this master from many angles, he tends to explain a little bit at his techniques, but he mainly explained the importance of keeping the chest up, and going irimi the whole time, along with the importance or raising the arm up while doing kokyoo ho techniques. If I could notice something, nothing was new from what he said with his mouth, but I was more impressed of what his feet and knees have said.
The next morning, I have managed to attend the Yasuno sensei class, and for my bad luck, the class was in the early morning, and it was hella crowded. Me and a couple of guys were the ones wearing white pyjamas, while the others are just far more experienced than me. This was one of the most confusing classes I ever had in aikido, it wasn't for only, it was for the people I practiced with too. This guy just jumps in the dojo, does gazzilion techniques, thinking that we understood all of his techniques, and calls more than one uke at each demo which raises the confusion even more. But this guy's style is impressive, somehow is immersed deeply into the application type in aikido, because from whatever grab he gets from the uke, he just manages to bring the uke down with quick taps on the matt.
This master is incredibly balanced I would say, he just draws in the uke in a method I didn't see before, he was stable as If the earth owns the gravity, then his balance owns the earth. He seemed to be roaming around the hall, giving small demonstrations, but they ALL seemed different from each other, I couldn't match up with the basics to bring myself to these far advanced techniques, I wasn't there in the image though, it was the aikidoka's themselves too. In a nutshell, he jumps into the dojo, throws in a party that no one is invited to.
